Clown-troversy
I hate clowns. I was doing some entertaining searches for random stuff on eBay tonight (yes, this is how I spend my pathetic Friday evenings these days) and made the mistake of entering the word "clowns". With this search I found both an impressive and disturbing variety of clown-related items like the item up for auction (yipe!) shown here. I've had many a conversation with colleagues at work about clowns, and most everyone has been in agreement that they are entirely too creepy. During one of these conversations, another colleague confessed to being afraid of weeping willow trees, which I find quite fascinating. In the guest bedroom of one of my Arizona relatives, there is a collection of painted resin clown busts and framed clown prints on the wall. I always hated sleeping in that room, and would cover their faces with Kleenex so they wouldn't watch me (and then kill me when I fell asleep.)

I have a fear of turbines and being stuck in an automated car wash and being beat silly by the big rotating rag things when I try to get out of the car.
i ALSO have a fear of turbines. somehow i always picture my hair getting caught in this sort of apparatus only to later have my skull sucked in, as well... and so follows the oblilteration.
for that reason, i also have a fear of paper shredders!
