Quick, somebody get me a squeegee!
Seriously. Ninety degree midwestern days COMPOUNDED by almost 98% humidity? Is it really necessary? Yesterday I was outside for less than an hour around 7:15 p.m. doing some mild yardwork.... trimmed a tree or two, watered my planter urns (which are looking mighty pathetic, I might add) and yanked a few weeds. Nothing terribly physical. But less than an hour later, my white t-shirt looked as if I was either about to enter a contest, or had a bad run-in with a firehose. My face glistened as though I had fallen headfirst into an economy size tub of Crisco. Whatever way you want to look at it, it wasn't a pretty sight.
Give me a 110-degree Phoenix day over this soggy heat any day! Blecch!!

I know how you feel! Chengdu was hot and humid before I left and all that I did was sweat! I can't believe that I feel a bit of relief here in Phoenix and I can't believe I actually can say I miss the desert!
